In May 2025, La Générale at 31 rue Gabrielle le Pan de Ligny hosted its annual car boot sale, associated as every year with a plant market. About sixty stalls were set up in the former Mellinet barracks site, offering clothing, furniture, books, and various items to visitors.

The plant market attracted many gardening enthusiasts who came to complete their balcony or garden at the start of the spring season. The complementarity between treasure hunting and the horticultural market created an original and festive atmosphere, in the atypical setting of this former military site transformed into a mixed and dynamic living space. Regulars from the Dervallières-Zola neighborhood and curious visitors from all over the city appreciated this unique spring event in Nantes.
