The Billé car boot sale is a summer event that enlivens the village center of this rural commune in northeastern Ille-et-Vilaine. Private exhibitors offer a wide selection of second-hand items: clothes, toys, trinkets, tableware, books, tools, small furniture, appliances, and flea market objects. The event attracts bargain hunters from the Pays de Fougères and the Vitréais region in a relaxed atmosphere.
Billé is a commune of about 1,200 inhabitants located 8 km southeast of Fougères, in the Fougères Agglomération urban community. The village is situated on a granite plateau covered with hedgerows, in the typical landscape of the Marches de Bretagne. The village center retains its Saint-Pierre granite church, traditional farms, and a network of sunken lanes winding between fields and hedges. The proximity of the Fougères forest and the medieval Château de Fougères—one of the most imposing in Europe—enhances the area's appeal.
The Billé car boot sale offers the charm of Breton rural flea markets: outdoor stalls, attractive prices, and lively discussions among neighbors. The refreshment stand offers traditional galettes-saucisses (sausage crepes) and crêpes. Entry is free and parking is easy.
The Billé car boot sale returns on June 14, 2026.
