Swap meet organized by Baud Natation in the Intermarché parking lot in Talvern
Every year in June, the club Baud Natation organizes its traditional swap meet in the Intermarché parking lot in Talvern, at the entrance to Baud. The funds raised help finance the activities of the swimming club, which offers lessons and training for swimmers in the Blavet valley.
The Intermarché parking lot offers a large outdoor space, easily accessible from the road to Pontivy. Its location in a commercial area guarantees good visibility and a large flow of visitors, including supermarket customers who spontaneously stop to hunt for bargains.
A town of about 6,000 inhabitants between Pontivy and Hennebont, Baud is a commercial crossroads in the interior of Morbihan. The town is crossed by the Blavet river and is known for its mysterious Vénus de Quinipily. The car boot sale attracts residents from neighboring towns: Camors, Guern, Melrand, Pluméliau-Bieuzy.
