Looking Back at the August 15th, 2025 Edition
On August 15th, 2025, the episcopal city of Saint-Lizier hosted its traditional car boot sale in the magnificent setting of its medieval center. Private exhibitors from the communes of Couserans and numerous visitors, taking advantage of the Assumption Day long weekend to discover or rediscover this gem of Ariège's heritage, gathered for a friendly day.
The stalls, arranged in the alleys and squares of the city, offered a variety of everyday objects, dishes, clothing, and trinkets. The unique setting of Saint-Lizier—between the Romanesque cathedral, the cloister, and the Gallo-Roman ramparts—added an incomparable heritage dimension to this popular flea market.
