August 16, 2025 Car Boot Sale in Allègre
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, Allègre hosted its annual grand summer car boot sale. Organized by the Tourist Office in the village center, this event benefited from the beautiful summer season and the high tourist traffic of the Petite Cité de Caractère to attract a large and varied public.
Private exhibitors and passing visitors enlivened the alleys and squares of the historic heart of Allègre, under the benevolent gaze of the ruins of the medieval fortress that overlooks the village from its volcanic promontory. The extended hours — from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. — allowed everyone to fully enjoy this summer day of treasure hunting and strolling through one of the most beautiful villages in Haute-Loire.
