The Aubazat patronal festival brought together its loyal participants in August 2025 under the auspices of the AVI association. From dawn, about fifty exhibitors set up in the Town Hall square and the village streets, offering their items for €1 per linear meter. The car boot sale, open all day, attracted bargain hunters and onlookers throughout the morning and afternoon.
At 8:30 am, hikers set off on the two routes offered by AVI: the long 12.5 km circuit for the more athletic, and the 5 km loop for families with children. The landscapes of the Brioude plain in August were magnificent, bathed in a golden summer light.
At noon, the village's communal oven brought participants together for a friendly meal prepared by volunteers. This moment of gastronomic sharing, rooted in Auvergne's rural traditions, was one of the day's highlights. In the afternoon, the pétanque competition and theater performances enlivened the village until late afternoon, concluding a complete and successful day.
