The winter car boot sale of ASCLM Handball at the Jules Ladoumègue hall, La Montagne, with free coffee and 200 exhibitors in February
The ASCLM Handball of La Montagne organizes its car boot sale every February at the Jules Ladoumègue hall, 12 rue de la Gaudinière. With around 200 exhibitors and a coffee offered upon arrival, this winter event is one of the most popular in the town. An unmissable event for bargain hunters on the south bank of the Loire, a few kilometers from Nantes.
Every February, the ASCLM Handball club of La Montagne opens the doors of the Jules Ladoumègue hall, 12 rue de la Gaudinière, to host its winter car boot sale. With around 200 exhibitors, it is one of the most important second-hand events in the area, attracting bargain hunters and families in the middle of winter.
This car boot sale stands out with special attention given to exhibitors: a coffee is offered to them upon arrival. This small touch of conviviality, appreciated when setting up early on a cold February morning, illustrates the warm spirit of the organization. ASCLM Handball knows that well-received exhibitors are loyal exhibitors, and this tradition contributes to the event's good reputation.
The Jules Ladoumègue hall is the multi-sports hall of La Montagne, well known to licensed members and families in the area. In February, its indoor setting offers a decisive advantage: sheltered from winter weather whims, exhibitors and visitors enjoy optimal comfort. The 200 stalls can be set up over a large area, offering a varied browsing experience: clothing, toys, books, tableware, appliances, furniture, and many other items await visitors.
The profits generated from exhibitor registration fees allow ASCLM Handball to finance its activities throughout the season: purchase of sports equipment, licenses, travel expenses for matches. This February car boot sale is therefore much more than just a second-hand market: it is an act of support for local amateur sports, mobilizing the entire community of La Montagne.
Located on the south bank of the Loire, about ten kilometers west of Nantes, La Montagne is a residential town that benefits from a pleasant living environment between the river and the countryside. Its proximity to Nantes and Saint-Herblain makes it an attractively well-integrated town within the Nantes metropolitan area while preserving its own identity and community life.
The ASCLM Handball car boot sale returns in February 2026 at the Jules Ladoumègue hall, La Montagne. ~200 exhibitors, free coffee. Proceeds for local handball.
