Annual car boot sale of AS Muret Football for the benefit of the Muret football club
AS Muret Football organizes its annual car boot sale every June for the benefit of the club. This popular event brings together many private sellers and hundreds of visitors in the sub-prefecture of Haute-Garonne, about twenty kilometers south of Toulouse.
The profits from the car boot sale are entirely reinvested in AS Muret Football to fund sports equipment, licenses, travel, and the training of young footballers. The club, which has several youth and senior teams, needs the community's support to maintain its activities at a competitive level.
Muret (31600) is a city of over 27,000 inhabitants, a sub-prefecture of Haute-Garonne. This historic city, known as the site of the Battle of Muret (1213) and the birthplace of Clément Ader, has a particularly rich sporting and associative fabric. Football plays an important role here, with a club that has been training players for several decades.
Sellers offer the classic range of car boot sale items: clothes, shoes, toys, board games, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture, and decorative objects. The refreshment stand and food service, run by club volunteers and parents, add a friendly dimension to this sporty and supportive day.
