Every year in May, the APEL of Sainte-Bernadette school organizes its car boot sale at the Athyrium, the large socio-cultural and sports facility in Onet-le-Château. This event is driven by a team of volunteer parents, mobilized throughout the year to fund the school's educational and extracurricular activities. All profits — exhibitor registration fees, refreshments, food — are donated to support educational projects: school trips, shows, creative workshops, and classroom equipment.

Inaugurated in 2018, the Athyrium is a leading municipal facility, located at 34 boulevard des Capucines in Onet-le-Château. This modern and spacious building hosts cultural, sports, and association events throughout the year. Its large hall and modular spaces make it an ideal venue for organizing car boot sales, offering exhibitors and visitors a covered and comfortable space, protected from the weather.

Car boot sale and plant market: two events in one

The originality of this event lies in the combination of a car boot sale and a plant market. Private exhibitors offer a wide variety of items at their stalls: clothing and shoes for children and adults, toys and board games, books and comics, crockery and decorative items, small furniture, baby equipment, and many other finds at affordable prices.
