Car boot sale and traders' street sale in the town centre

The streets of the Ferney-Voltaire town centre were transformed into a huge open-air market on October 5, 2025, for the annual edition of the car boot sale and traders' street sale. This dual concept brought together individuals clearing out their attics and local traders offering their items at reduced prices, creating a festive and dynamic atmosphere in this border town of the Pays de Gex.

From 8 am to 5 pm, visitors, including French residents and cross-border commuters working in Switzerland, enjoyed this day of outdoor shopping in a unique cosmopolitan setting. The 3-meter pitches at €6 each made it easy for individuals to set up, while traders came out in front of their shops for exceptional street sales. Registration via the MyBrocante platform facilitated the organization.
