Saint-Vit hosts a unique and original dual event each year: the Car boot sale and Second-hand Multimedia Equipment Fair. Organized by the Association Saint-Vit Informatique, this event unfolds in two complementary zones, making it distinctive in the landscape of flea markets and car boot sales in the Doubs region.

Zone 1: The classic car boot sale in the streets

The first zone, set up in the streets of the town center, hosts the traditional car boot sale: private sellers and second-hand dealers offer clothes, toys, books, crockery, furniture, and everyday items in a friendly and popular atmosphere. The streets of Saint-Vit then take on the air of a large summer street sale, with dozens of stalls lining the marked route.

Zone 2: The multimedia equipment fair under a tent

The second zone, set up under a tent equipped with electricity, is entirely dedicated to second-hand multimedia equipment: computers, spare parts, computer peripherals, video game consoles, games, cameras, hi-fi equipment, cables, and electronic accessories. The presence of electricity allows exhibitors to demonstrate the equipment for sale, which is a valuable asset for buyers wishing to check the proper functioning of the devices before purchasing.

The Association Saint-Vit Informatique

The Association Saint-Vit Informatique is behind this unique event in the Doubs. This association, dedicated to promoting IT and new technologies for all audiences, organizes this fair to provide access to computer equipment at affordable prices, while encouraging the reuse and recycling of electronic equipment. With an estimated capacity of between 100 and 200 exhibitors, this event is one of the largest in Saint-Vit. Entry is free, and the event is open from 8 am to 6 pm, with exhibitors setting up from 6 am. Food and drink are available on-site.
