Camps-la-Source's autumn flea market

The final stop of Camps-la-Source's annual calendar, after April and May editions, the autumn flea market closes the local hunting season. Run by the festival committee and town hall, usually in September. 2024 edition: Sunday 29 September 2024.

This third annual edition follows Var communal-event tradition: simple format, family mood, locals prioritised. Three events a year (April, May, September) make Camps-la-Source among the most active village flea-market hubs despite its modest size.

End-of-season mood

Autumn timing brings a distinct tone: summer heat fades, days shorten, last fine days are savoured. Sellers often offer seasonal items — warmer clothes, sports gear, back-to-school items, kids toys and books.

Camps-la-Source in Provence Verte

Small Var hinterland village preserving authenticity: stone houses, quiet alleys, fountains, church. Locals and nearby (Brignoles, Tourves, Rougiers) form the base audience. The village name evokes its historic spring.

From Brignoles via D15 (10 min). Street parking. Cash, bag, jacket — September mornings can be crisp, middays mild. Centre cafés open.

Provence Verte's dense flea-market calendar (Brignoles, Tourves, Rougiers, La Roquebrussanne, Garéoult…) lets hunters combine several events weekend by weekend.

Extending the day

Pays brignolais museum, Côtes de Provence vineyards, Carcès lake or Caramy gorges extend the day.
