14th July Car Boot Sale in Cambernard, village of Cœur de Garonne
Every 14th July, Bastille Day, the village of Cambernard organises a car boot sale in its streets. From 8 am to 6 pm, private sellers offer a wide range of second-hand items: clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, and various bric-a-brac. The choice of July 14th as the date ensures a large turnout, with visitors taking advantage of the public holiday to hunt for bargains.
Cambernard is a village of 472 inhabitants (the Cambernadais) located in the Cœur de Garonne community of communes, between Le Lherm, Saint-Clar-de-Rivière, Poucharramet, and Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières. The commune covers 8.5 km² and consists of a central village dominated by the Assumption Church, a 17th and 18th-century building which is the village's main monument.
The car boot sale is part of the 14th July festivities in Cambernard. This national holiday is an opportunity for residents and visitors to gather in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. The village streets are transformed into a large open-air market where one can happily hunt for treasures among the stalls.
Cambernard offers a preserved rural setting between the Garonne valley and the hills of Savès. Entry is free and parking is easy in the village. The commune is accessible from Muret via the D3 or from Rieumes via the departmental roads.
From Muret, take the D3 towards Rieumes then follow signs for Cambernard (approx. 20 km, 20 minutes).
Free parking in the village.
