The Hyper Déballage of Forcalquier

Several times a year, Forcalquier hosts an Hyper Déballage organized by the DVA-Salumami association. This large-scale event takes over the Place du Bourguet, the Place de l'Office de Tourisme, and the Rue Andrieux, transforming the historic center of this medieval town into a huge open-air market.

An attractive mixed format

The Hyper Déballage is distinguished by its mixed format: it welcomes both professional antique dealers offering antiques, furniture, and vintage items, and private individuals clearing out their attics and cellars. This diversity enriches the event and attracts a varied audience, from collectors to families looking for bargains.

In the medieval heart of Forcalquier

The setting is exceptional: stalls are set up in the medieval alleys and on the squares of Forcalquier, creating a unique atmosphere blending heritage and treasure hunting. Visitors can enjoy the café terraces and shops in the town center between finds.

A seasonal event

The Hyper Déballage is held mainly in May and December, marking the start of the summer season and the holiday period. Morning sessions start as early as 6 am for the most motivated treasure hunters and continue until late afternoon.
