For over 30 years, the August car boot sale and flea market of Mennetou-sur-Cher has been a must-attend event for bargain hunters from Berry and Sologne. The event is held at Parc Plage, rue du Val Rose, in a green setting by the Cher river, a stone's throw from this fortified medieval town.

An exceptional medieval town

Mennetou-sur-Cher is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the Loire Valley. Its 13th-century ramparts, its three circular towers with loopholes, and its three square gates bear witness to its defensive past. The picturesque narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses from the 14th-16th centuries form a unique setting for this summer bargain hunting day.

Information for exhibitors

The pitch is charged at €2.50 per meter. Exhibitors arrive from 5:30 AM and prior reservation is mandatory. Traveling food vendors are not allowed, which preserves the authentic character of the event.
