Every year at the beginning of August, Usson-en-Forez hosts its brocante-vide-grenier in the streets of the village center. From 7 am to 5 pm, the stalls offer a varied assortment of antique objects, furniture, trinkets, and bargains. Entry is free.
Located at an altitude of about 900 meters, Usson-en-Forez is a village of character in the Haut Forez, at the crossroads of three departments (Loire, Haute-Loire, Puy-de-Dome). The village has the Ecomusee Museum of the Monts du Forez, a testament to rural life in the mountains. Visitors to the flea market can extend their day with a visit to the museum or a walk in the surrounding pine and pasture landscapes.
The flea market is part of the larger August patron saint's festival in Usson-en-Forez, which animates the village for four days at the end of August, with rides, entertainment, and refreshment stands.
