Flea market and car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Sommelonne, in the center of the village
The Comité des Fêtes de Sommelonne organizes a flea market and car boot sale every year in the center of the village. The event welcomes both individuals and professionals, in a friendly and family atmosphere. Exhibitors offer antique objects, flea market finds, clothes, and second-hand items on their stalls, attracting bargain hunters from the Saint-Dizier area and southern Meuse.
Located in the canton of Ancerville, 8 km northeast of Saint-Dizier, Sommelonne is a village of 428 inhabitants spread over 10.2 km². The municipality is crossed by the RD 3 and the Ornel river. Surrounded by the communes of Baudonvilliers, Haironville, and Chancenay, the village is located on the border of Haute-Marne, within the community of communes Portes de Meuse. This border geographical position between two departments gives Sommelonne an extended customer base for its events.
The rates are very accessible: €5 for 3 meters for individuals and €15 for 3 meters for professionals. Entry is free for visitors. Catering and refreshments are provided on site by the Comité des Fêtes, allowing you to extend the day in a warm and gourmet atmosphere.
The flea market is set up in the center of the village, near the rue de l'Église, offering a picturesque setting for this day of bargain hunting. The Comité des Fêtes de Sommelonne, driven by dynamic volunteers, organizes this event to maintain the associative and festive life of the village. The profits contribute to the financing of local events throughout the year.
