The atmosphere is that of a friendly and authentic village event.
Rancourt-sur-Ornain is a village of 209 inhabitants, located in the Ornain valley south of the Meuse. The municipality covers 9.86 km² in a landscape of meadows and forests crossed by the Ornain, a tributary of the Marne. The village retains a typical rural heritage of Lorraine, with its limestone houses and allotment gardens.
Rancourt-sur-Ornain is home to Les Greniers du Père Sauce, a permanent second-hand dealer located in the village.
