The Neuvicq-le-Château Flea Market: 300 exhibitors in a village of character

Every year in September, the small village of Neuvicq-le-Château in Charente-Maritime hosts one of the largest flea market car boot sales in Saintonge. Organized by the AMACS association, this event brings together between 200 and 300 exhibitors in the picturesque village streets, on the château square, the church square, and the fairground.

An exceptional medieval setting for treasure hunting

Neuvicq-le-Château derives its name from its ancient castle, the remains of which still overlook the village. This hamlet in the interior of Saintonge, located between Saint-Jean-d'Angély and Aulnay-de-Saintonge, offers an authentic and preserved setting, ideal for a flea market day. The stone houses, narrow alleys, and shaded squares create a unique atmosphere that delights treasure hunters.

A rich and diverse offering

With 200 to 300 exhibitors, the Neuvicq-le-Château flea market offers a considerable choice: antiques, old furniture, tableware, second-hand clothes, toys, books, trinkets, old tools, and decorative objects. Visitors, coming from all over Charente-Maritime and neighboring departments, appreciate the density of the offerings and the attractive prices offered by private and professional exhibitors.

Entertainment and catering in the village

Beyond treasure hunting, the day is punctuated by musical entertainment that contributes to the festive atmosphere. On-site catering allows for lunch in the heart of the village, and visitors can take advantage of the château visit to discover the local heritage. Free parking and exhibitor pitches at only €2 per linear meter (minimum 5 meters for a car with trailer) make the event accessible to all.
