The big car boot sale in Touques: over 300 exhibitors in the village

Every June, the village of Touques transforms into a huge open-air market for its annual car boot sale. Organized by the Comité de jumelage de Touques, this event is one of the most important on the Côte Fleurie, with between 200 and 300 exhibitors animating the town center from 8 am to 7 pm.

A treasure hunt through the village

The stalls stretch from Place Lemercier to Place Saint-Pierre, passing through Rue Louvel et Brière. This route through the historic village of Touques offers a picturesque setting for a day of treasure hunting, amidst half-timbered Norman houses and medieval alleys. Furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, books, trinkets, and collectibles are displayed on the stalls for the greatest pleasure of bargain hunters.

Touques, gateway to the Côte Fleurie

Touques is a historic commune in the Pays d'Auge, located at the mouth of the river of the same name, between Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer. A former medieval stronghold, the town preserves the remains of its castle and its 11th-century Saint-Pierre church, a listed historic monument. Today, Touques is a lively commercial center benefiting from its proximity to the seaside resorts of the Côte Fleurie.

An event organized by the Comité de jumelage

The Comité de jumelage de Touques organizes this annual car boot sale, which is now in its 23rd edition. Registration is with the animation service of the Touques town hall, at 7 Place Lemercier, or by phone at 02 31 88 00 07. The exhibitor fee is set at 25 euros for 5 linear meters, with an additional 5 euros per extra meter. Catering is provided on-site by various stands.
