Every year in April, the village of La Chailleuse hosts its spring flea market and car boot sale. This event brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors in the streets of this small village in the Haut-Jura, attracting treasure hunters from the Saint-Claude region and surrounding areas.
The event welcomes both individuals and semi-professional flea market dealers. The stalls offer furniture, trinkets, tableware, clothing, toys, and decorative objects. La Chailleuse is a rural commune in the Haut-Jura located in the upper Bienne valley, a few kilometers from Saint-Claude.
