Flea market of the Vendœuvres Festival Committee, between 100 and 200 exhibitors organized by the festival committee
The Vendœuvres flea market is a major September event organized by the festival committee. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors, professionals and individuals, take over the center of this town in the Brenne region for a day of treasure hunting with catering, refreshments, a carousel, and entertainment.
Every last Sunday of September, the Vendœuvres festival committee organizes a flea market that brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors in the town center. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., professionals and individuals offer antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, tools, toys, clothing, records, and collector's items. The event is one of the most important of the end of the season in the Indre department.
Vendœuvres is a commune of about 1,200 inhabitants located in the heart of the Brenne Regional Natural Park. This active town is a service center for the surrounding rural communities. The town is crossed by the river Claise and its territory is dotted with ponds characteristic of the Brenne region. The Saint-Martin church and the old houses in the town bear witness to a preserved rural heritage.
The Vendœuvres flea market is distinguished by its festive atmosphere: a fairground carousel entertains children, catering is provided on-site with refreshments and meals, and restrooms are available. The pitch costs €2 per linear meter for exhibitors, with setup starting at 4:30 a.m. Admission is free.
The Vendœuvres flea market returns in September 2026.
