The stalls offer a fine assortment: rustic furniture, tableware, pottery, old tools, books, toys, clothing, trinkets, embroidered linens, ironwork, and collector's items. The flea market benefits from the exceptional natural setting of the Brenne, a region nicknamed the "Land of a Thousand Ponds" for its unique concentration of bodies of water.
Liniez is a commune of about 400 inhabitants nestled in the Brenne Regional Natural Park, one of the largest continental wetlands in France. The municipal territory is dotted with ponds that host remarkable flora and fauna: European pond turtle, herons, grebes, water lilies, orchids. The village is located between Le Blanc and Mézières-en-Brenne, in a landscape of hedgerows, heathlands, and woodlands. The Brenne is classified as a Ramsar site and is part of the Natura 2000 network.
