The Brocante de Saint-Palais Sport Pêche: treasure hunting by the lake

Every June, the Saint-Palais Sport Pêche association organizes its annual flea market by the lake of Saint-Palais, avenue de la Ganipote. This summer event brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors around the body of water, in a green setting conducive to strolling and bargain hunting. The event has established itself as a highlight of the associative life of Saint-Palais-sur-Mer.

The same site, two associative flea markets

The lake of Saint-Palais hosts two major associative flea markets successively: that of Saint-Palais Sport Football on May 8th, and then that of Saint-Palais Sport Pêche in June. This site, bordered by pine trees and lawns, offers an ideal setting for these outdoor events. Pitches are offered at €4 per linear meter, and catering professionals are not allowed, as the refreshment stand is run by the organizing association.

Saint-Palais Sport Pêche, the passion for fishing

The Saint-Palais Sport Pêche association brings together recreational fishing enthusiasts from the town. Active throughout the year, it offers fishing trips, introductory sessions, and social events. The annual flea market is its main source of funding, allowing for the purchase of equipment, maintenance of fishing sites, and the organization of activities for its members.

The organizers recommend that exhibitors allow at least the length of their vehicle for their pitch. Advance registration is recommended. Refreshments and light catering are provided on-site by the association's volunteers. Restrooms and parking are available nearby.
