Annual flea market in Saint-Avold, a Naborian city in the heart of Moselle-Est
The Brocante de Saint-Avold brings together lovers of antique objects and bargains in the Naborian city. Saint-Avold, the second largest city in the Forbach district with its 16,000 inhabitants, regularly hosts flea market events that liven up its town center and its community halls. The Wenheck flea market, at the foyer of the same name, is one of these events appreciated by Moselle bargain hunters.
The Brocante de Saint-Avold is held in the foyer du Wenheck hall, offering an indoor setting conducive to bargain hunting in all weather. Trinkets, antique tableware, books, vinyl records, small furniture, and collector's items are offered by exhibitors, both individuals and professionals. The Wenheck hall is well known to the people of Saint-Avold for regularly hosting associative and cultural events.
Saint-Avold is a city of 16,000 inhabitants in the heart of Moselle-Est. Its heritage is remarkable: the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours basilica, a masterpiece of Lorraine Baroque, dominates the city with its imposing silhouette. The American Military Cemetery, the largest in Europe, hosts more than 10,000 graves of soldiers who fell during World War II. The city is also a commercial and service hub for the entire Naborian basin.
