Annual flea market organized by the organizing committee of Saint-Aignan-des-Noyers
Every year, the tiny village of Saint-Aignan-des-Noyers, with only about a hundred inhabitants, organizes its annual flea market on Rue des Noyers. This event, supported by the local organizing committee, perfectly illustrates the associative vitality of small villages in Berry and their ability to create popular gatherings despite their modest size.
Rue des Noyers, the main street of this village in the south of the Cher department, is adorned with flea market stalls from the first light of day. Exhibitors set up from 6:30 am to offer early morning visitors a varied selection of country furniture, antique tableware, old tools, books, trinkets, and collectibles. Exhibitors' vehicles are measured upon booking and parked in the exhibition area.
Beyond the treasure hunting, the Brocante de Saint-Aignan-des-Noyers is a true village festival. The organizing committee offers on-site catering, a well-stocked bar, and entertainment throughout the day. The traditional raffle adds a touch of suspense and joy to this rural day. It's an opportunity for the villagers and those from surrounding towns to gather in a warm atmosphere.
The flea market is held on Rue des Noyers from 7:30 am to 5 pm for visitors. Pitch price: €1 per meter, minimum 5 meters, then in multiples of 5. Free entry. Reservations: 06 77 78 90 80 or 06 69 59 57 66.
