Flea market during the patronal festival of Brousse, village of Combrailles
Brousse, a small village in the Combrailles located between Pontgibaud and Pontaumur, celebrates its patronal festival at the beginning of July with a flea market on rue de l'école. This event perpetuates the tradition of Auvergne's votive festivals where the flea market complements popular festivities.
In this village in the heart of the Combrailles, the patronal festival is a highlight of communal life. The flea market attracts both the villagers and passing visitors, in a festive and friendly atmosphere characteristic of rural patronal festivals.
The flea market of the patron saint festival of Brousse (63490, Puy-de-Dôme) takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in the village, on rue de l'école. Organized by the festival committee as part of the village's patron saint festival (weekend of July 4 and 5, on the theme «Guinguette»), it brings together exhibitors and bargain hunters.
On Sunday, the flea market is accompanied by a local producers' market, Auvergne folklore with the group «Lou Gorneiros», a meal from the festival committee, a balloon release, free inflatable structures for children, pony rides, and a refreshment stand with on-site catering. The day before, on Saturday evening, a concert by Eric Bayle, a meal, and a torchlight procession complete the festivities. Free entry for visitors and bargain hunters.
