Major annual brocante in the Parc Claude Vincent in Charentay (29th edition), in the heart of the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées
Since 1998, the Parc Claude Vincent Brocante has established itself as an unmissable fixture in the Beaujolais summer calendar. For its 29th edition in July 2026, the Parc Claude Vincent in Charentay will once again welcome professional dealers and private sellers in its leafy, green setting. The park's paths are transformed for a day into a maze of stalls offering antique furniture, collectibles, crockery, clothing, toys, books, trinkets and treasures of every kind. The festive atmosphere, the exceptional park setting and the quality of the exhibitors make this event a benchmark occasion in the Beaujolais. Families, seasoned bargain hunters and casual visitors gather here every year for a day of discovery and conviviality.
Charentay (69220) is a Beaujolais village set on the wine-growing hillsides between Villefranche-sur-Saône and Belleville-en-Beaujolais. It belongs to the Pierres Dorées area, the southern Beaujolais territory characterised by its houses and walls built in limestone with golden highlights, which give the villages a particularly warm and beautiful light. The village is surrounded by vineyards producing Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages wines. The Parc Claude Vincent is one of the most pleasant green spaces in the commune, offering an ideal setting for summer events.
Charentay is accessible from Villefranche-sur-Saône (about 10 km south) via the D504 then local roads, and from Belleville-en-Beaujolais (about 10 km north) via the D37. Parking available near the park. Car recommended.
