At 53 Avenue Aurélienne, Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, Brocante Papy hosts Sunday flea markets throughout the year. The Sunday 24 August 2025 edition drew around 50 sellers from 6am to 1pm — early hours chosen to beat summer heat.

The format sits between the big occasional flea markets and daily pro trade: mostly private sellers, a few dealers, clear pricing (€12 car, €17 car + trailer, €17 van).

A more intimate alternative

With ~50 sellers, Papy is more intimate than the region's huge brocantes. You can cover it in an hour or two and chat with sellers. Free visitor entry, easy A8 access (Saint-Maximin exit). Cash is essential.

Saint-Maximin, a hunting hub

Saint-Maximin concentrates several top flea markets: Cave de Cantarelle every Sunday, Plaisir de Chiner in June, Parc d'activités du Chemin d'Aix in April. After hunting, visit the Gothic Basilica and royal convent.
