The « Chacun chez soi » Flea Market in Nérondes

Since 2023, the commune of Nérondes, in the Cher department, has been offering an original flea market concept called « Chacun chez soi ». The principle is simple: residents of Nérondes register their garden, courtyard, or garage as a sales point, and visitors wander freely through the village streets in search of bargains.

A treasure hunt through the village

On the day of the event, visitors explore the streets of Nérondes from 7 am to 6 pm, guided by a map distributed at the entrance to the village. Each participant sets up outside their home the items they wish to sell: furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, books, and knick-knacks. Entry is free for visitors.

Organization and registration

The event is organized by the association Les Amis du Rythme in partnership with the town hall of Nérondes. Residents wishing to participate as exhibitors must register with the town hall at least 15 days before the event, for a registration fee of 5 euros, the proceeds of which are donated to the association.
