The big 1 May brocante organised by Draguignan Lions Club
Every 1 May, the Draguignan Lions Club organises its traditional braderie-brocante-flea-market on the Carrefour Salamandrier shopping centre car park. A major solidarity event benefiting charities, gathering sellers and bargain-hunters from across Dracenie.
1 May, Labour and Lily of the Valley holiday, is traditionally one of France's biggest flea market days. In Draguignan, the local Lions Club has run a great braderie-brocante-flea-market for many years on the Carrefour Salamandrier car park.
Lions Club International has engaged in charitable action for over a century. Draguignan Lions Club funds various causes: sick children, struggling families, eye health, scholarships.
