On August 15, 2025, the Gueule d'Enfer antique flea market brought together its approximately 200 exhibitors under the iconic shaded avenue of Verneuil-sur-Avre. Antiques, Norman furniture, earthenware, collector's items, and curiosities attracted bargain hunters and enthusiasts from across the Eure department and neighboring regions, in the festive atmosphere of this major Assumption fair.

For the 2025 Assumption Day celebration, the Gueule d'Enfer avenue in Verneuil-sur-Avre once again hosted its grand antique flea market. The approximately 200 exhibitors gathered under the foliage offered a curated selection of antiques and flea market finds: Norman furniture, regional earthenware, grandfather clocks, silverware, old books, prints, and period toys.
The pleasant natural shade of the avenue, combined with the rich heritage of Verneuil-sur-Avre's medieval setting, provided visitors with an exceptional treasure-hunting experience. Lovers of fine objects left satisfied, as they do every year at this summer event that marks mid-August in the Eure.
