Chapelle-Viviers Brocante and Flea Market

A rural brocante in eastern Vienne

Chapelle-Viviers, c. 400 inhabitants, in eastern Vienne (Chauvigny canton, edge of Montmorillonnais). Every 8 May the village runs its brocante and flea market, a Vienne-Gartempe spring classic. 2026 edition: Friday 8 May, a public holiday ideal for family chining.

Village-scale event

A few dozen sellers — locals and a few pros from Chauvigny, Lussac-les-Châteaux, Saint-Savin. Warm, relaxed — unlike intimidating bigger fairs. The kind of brocante where you chat with sellers, negotiation is part of the game.
