The Sou des Écoles de Chatte organizes a flea market-car boot sale every spring in the village. This event, distinct from the Tintamart car boot sale, is run by the parent-teacher association and the profits are entirely dedicated to funding school trips and activities for the children of the town.

A flea market-car boot sale format

This mixed event welcomes both private sellers (individuals selling their personal items) and antique dealers offering decor, furniture, and collectible items. This format enriches the offerings for visitors, who can find both everyday items at low prices and more sought-after pieces.

Chatte in the spring

The village of Chatte, nestled in the Isère plain at the foot of the Vercors foothills, offers a charming spring setting for this event. Flowering walnut trees, green fields, and the silhouette of the Vercors in the background create a pleasant backdrop for a day of treasure hunting in the countryside. The town is easily accessible from Saint-Marcellin and the Isère valley.
