200 exhibitors on the Mail de la Forêt

Every year in June, the Poinçonnet festival committee organizes a large flea market on the Mail de la Forêt, a vast tree-lined space in this residential town on the outskirts of Châteauroux. Around 200 exhibitors, professionals and individuals, set up their stalls to offer antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, clothing, books, toys, tools, vinyl records, and second-hand items. The green and shaded setting of the Mail de la Forêt makes it a particularly pleasant place to hunt for treasures.

Le Poinçonnet, on the outskirts of Châteauroux

Le Poinçonnet is a town of over 5,000 inhabitants located southeast of Châteauroux, in the first ring of the urban area. The town benefits from a green living environment with the nearby Châteauroux forest, one of the largest state forests in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The Mail de la Forêt, which hosts the flea market, is a leisure area appreciated by the residents of Poinçonnet.
