Annual May 1st flea market organized by the MJC of Laneuveville-devant-Nancy
Every May 1st, the MJC Maison Pour Tous of Laneuveville-devant-Nancy organizes its big annual flea market in its parking lots and adjacent streets. This event, which has become a must-attend for bargain hunters in the Nancy metropolitan area, brings together many private sellers and artisans offering second-hand items, furniture, clothing, toys, tableware, and handcrafted creations.
The Laneuveville flea market is distinguished by its strict rules: only individuals and artisans selling their own creations are allowed to exhibit. The sale of new non-artisanal items is prohibited, thus guaranteeing the authenticity and flea market spirit of the event. Prices must be clearly displayed on each item, and aisles are kept over 3 meters wide to ensure smooth circulation.
Exhibitor setup begins at 6:30 am, and the public is welcomed from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Pitches are offered at €16 for 5 meters of display space, with a preferential rate of €9 for Laneuveville residents. Each exhibitor can book up to a maximum of 3 pitches. Humanitarian associations benefit from free pitches. Four different colored accesses facilitate visitor orientation to the various areas of the flea market.
