Every July 14th, the town of Selles-sur-Cher comes alive with its traditional flea market organized by Vitrines en Selles, the association of local shopkeepers. Stalls stretch through the streets of the town center and along the banks of the Cher, offering a picturesque setting for this festive day of treasure hunting.
July 14th Festivities
Beyond the flea market, the day is marked by the festivities of the national holiday. Food and drink are available at midday and in the evening, provided by the Selles-sur-Cher Portuguese Football Club, and spectacular fireworks at 11 PM conclude this memorable day. The pitch is offered at 3 euros per linear meter.

Selles-sur-Cher is renowned for its eponymous AOP goat cheese and its castle with Renaissance gardens. Crossed by the Cher river, the town boasts a rich architectural heritage with its old houses, medieval bridge, and landscaped quays. The July 14th flea market benefits from this exceptional historic setting.
Brocante 14 Juillet Selles — edition 2026
The Selles-sur-Cher July 14th Flea Market takes place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in the town center and along the banks of the Cher. Organized by the merchants' association Vitrines en Selles, this traditional flea market brings together approximately 200 exhibitors (professionals and individuals).
Public welcome from 7h until 18h (exhibitors arrive from 5h). In the morning, a market also takes place on the main square. Visitor entry: 3 €. Refreshments and catering on site provided by the Football Club Portugais de Selles-sur-Cher.
