Looking Back at the 2025 Edition
On Sunday, July 20, 2025, the medieval town of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais pulsed to the rhythm of its summer flea market. In place Saint-Macé and the Saerbeck space, the Association des Fêtes Historiques de Ferrières had succeeded in its challenge: attracting exhibitors and visitors to this incomparable heritage setting composed of the Benedictine abbey, the abbey church, and the medieval streets of the village.
From 5:30 AM, exhibitors set up without prior reservation, paying for their spot at the accessible rate of €3 per linear meter. The diversity of items offered – antique furniture, inherited tableware, used books, trinkets, clothing, and tools – satisfied treasure hunters of all kinds who came to enjoy a beautiful July day.
The catering provided on-site by the association allowed visitors to extend their visit and regain strength after their stroll among the stalls. The day's profits contribute to the funding of AFH's activities and the enhancement of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais's historical heritage.
