The Brocante des Diablots: an Ascension tradition in Saint-Leu-la-Forêt

For many years, the town of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt has maintained a fine tradition: organising its large town centre brocante every Ascension Thursday. The Brocante des Diablots – named after the avenue des Diablots which hosts the event – is eagerly anticipated by residents and bargain hunters from across the Montmorency valley.

Open to private sellers and local shopkeepers

The brocante welcomes both private individuals wishing to clear their attics and local established businesses seizing the opportunity to display their goods outdoors. The entire length of avenue des Diablots transforms into an open-air market offering furniture, trinkets, clothing, books, crockery, paintings, decorative objects and various curiosities.

Organisation and participation conditions

The brocante is organised by EGS, a specialist event management company in Île-de-France. Private exhibitors register in 2-metre modules (€12 per linear metre). Food professionals pay a flat daily rate. Each exhibitor brings their own materials; ground-level displays are prohibited. The event is outdoors only, 7 AM–7 PM.
