Every 15 August, the village of Aiguebelette-le-Lac hosts its annual boot sale around the church, in an enchanting setting beside Lac d'Aiguebelette, one of the purest natural lakes in France.

Around fifty sellers in the village heart

From 7am to 6pm, around 50 private sellers set up stalls on the church square and surrounds:

• Decorative objects, antique tableware and ornaments
• Vintage clothing, accessories and household linen
• Books, magazines, vinyl records and collectibles
• Toys, outdoor games and leisure equipment
• Rustic small furniture and garden tools

Lac d'Aiguebelette is France's third-largest entirely French natural lake. Its warm, crystal-clear waters, closed to motor boats, make it a paradise for swimming, canoeing and fishing.
