The Brocante des Amoureux takes place in Saint-Valentin (36100), the only commune in France to bear the name of the patron saint of lovers. This village in Berry, located between Issoudun and Vatan, has made this uniqueness a real tourist asset with its Jardin des Amoureux (Lovers' Garden), its Arbre à Vœux (Wish Tree), and its Borne d'Amour (Love Post). On the day of the flea market, around 125 exhibitors set up in the village streets to offer trinkets, tableware, vintage items, books, clothing, small furniture, and various curiosities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Saint-Valentin, a Romantic Village in Berry

Saint-Valentin is a small commune of about 300 inhabitants nestled in the Berry countryside, in the community of communes of Champagne Berrichonne. Since the late 1990s, the village has cultivated its romantic identity: the Jardin des Amoureux, landscaped with sculptures and love messages, attracts visitors from all over the world each year, especially around February 14th. The village retains its church and its typical Berry stone houses, in a landscape of large open fields.
