Santeny's Unmissable Annual Brocante

In the rural commune of Santeny, nestled at the edge of Val-de-Marne, the annual brocante is much more than a simple garage sale: it is the village celebration. Co-organised by the Comité des Fêtes de Santeny and the town hall, it brings together a crowd of visitors and vendors from across the department every first Sunday of June.

A Festive Village Atmosphere

The event takes over Place Guillaume de Gondy, the geographical and symbolic heart of Santeny. Its cobbled lanes, millstone-grit façades and ancient church create a unique setting for an outdoor brocante. Stalls stretch across the entire square, offering an impressive variety of second-hand items: country furniture, antique crockery, books, toys, clothing, tools and all manner of curiosities.

True to Santeny's Rural Spirit

Santeny has managed to preserve its rural identity just a stone's throw from Paris. The annual brocante embodies this spirit: far from the frenzy of large professional fairs, it favours encounter, conversation and the pleasure of discovery. Vendors — mostly local private individuals — bring carefully selected items, ensuring the quality of finds.
