Every summer, the village square of Ruynes-en-Margeride (15320) hosts a popular car boot sale organized by the APE (Parents' Association). The unique feature of this car boot sale is the absence of prior registration: exhibitors arrive from 6 am and set up freely, with payment on site. The event runs from 8 am to 6 pm and brings together about a hundred private exhibitors.

Ruynes-en-Margeride is a commune in the northeast of Cantal, located on the foothills of Margeride, a granite massif that extends between Cantal, Lozère, and Haute-Loire.
