The Port-Blanc Flea Market: 1,500 Meters of Treasure Hunting Facing the Sea

Every summer, the Boulevard de la Mer in Port-Blanc, a seaside hamlet in the commune of Penvénan, transforms into one of the largest flea markets on the Côtes-d'Armor coastline. Organized by JA Penvénan, a local sports association, this event attracts thousands of visitors who come to browse the 1,500 meters of stalls set up facing the ocean.

200 to 300 Exhibitors in an Exceptional Maritime Setting

Between 200 and 300 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, offer an eclectic assortment: vintage items, handmade creations, decorations, clothing, games, books, tableware, and furniture. The setting is magnificent: the boulevard runs along the rugged coast of Port-Blanc, with views of the islets, rocks, and the Notre-Dame de Port-Blanc chapel perched on its promontory. The morning light of northern Brittany adds a magical touch to this seaside treasure hunt.

A Morning and Friendly Event

The most motivated treasure hunters arrive at dawn to spot the best finds. Exhibitors set up from 4:30 AM, and the market is open to the public from 6:30 AM. On-site catering offers fries, grilled sausages, and homemade crepes, perfect for regaining strength between finds. The atmosphere is festive and relaxed, in the spirit of Breton seaside flea markets.
