Ligré is a commune of about 1,000 inhabitants located in the heart of the Chinon appellation, in the Vienne valley. The village is famous for its troglodytic heritage and its houses made of white tuffeau, a limestone stone emblematic of Touraine. Rabelais stayed here, and the Devinière, his birthplace, is nearby. The cellars dug into the cliff house Chinon wines, powerful and elegant reds from cabernet franc. The flea market is the ideal opportunity to discover this exceptional terroir.
Admission is free. Refreshments and food available on site.
The Ligré flea market returns in March 2026.
