Sion-sur-l'Océan weekly brocante

Every Wednesday in July and August, Place Gaston Pateau at Sion-sur-l'Océan, seaside district of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, becomes an antiques market. The Vendée collectors' association sets up stalls offering holidaymakers and locals collectibles, antiques, brocante and curated curiosities. 2026 dates: Wed 1 July to Wed 26 August — nine consecutive dates.

Weekly format is a plus: hunters can return weekly, offers evolve, sellers know regulars. The Summer Brocante is now a marker of Sion-sur-l'Océan's summer identity, alongside beaches, seaside restaurants and family feel.
