Annual flea market in the village of Fléville-Lixières in Meurthe-et-Moselle
Each year at the beginning of May, the small village of Fléville-Lixières hosts its annual flea market, an event that enlivens this rural commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle Woëvre region. With its 300 inhabitants, Fléville-Lixières offers an intimate and authentic setting for this event, far from the hustle and bustle of large urban flea markets.
Fléville-Lixières is located in the north of the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, in the territory of the former Woëvre, a vast clay plain dotted with forests and ponds. The commune, born from the merger of Fléville and Lixières, covers nearly 15 km² in a preserved rural landscape. The town hall, located at 11 bis rue de Verdun, coordinates this event with local volunteers.
The Fléville-Lixières flea market is distinguished by its village and friendly character. Exhibitors set up their stalls in the village streets, offering antique furniture, tableware, tools, trinkets, books, and collector's items. The atmosphere is relaxed, conducive to exchanges and negotiations, in a spirit of authentic bargain hunting appreciated by enthusiasts.
The flea market takes place in the streets of the village of Fléville-Lixières. Admission is free for visitors. For registration details and stall prices, it is advisable to contact the town hall at 03 82 46 18 67 (Tuesday 9 am-11 am or Thursday 4 pm-6 pm).
