Every summer, the village of Boucieu-le-Roi (07270) hosts its annual flea market, organized by the local association Boucieu Passions. Nestled in the Ay valley, in the heart of the Ardèche verte, this small village labeled Village de Caractère offers an ideal setting for this summer event that enlivens its alleys on the first Sunday of July.
With its stone houses, fountains, and shaded lanes, Boucieu-le-Roi is a charming setting for bargain hunters and strollers who come to browse the stalls, looking for good deals and unusual items. The friendly and authentic atmosphere makes this flea market a popular event for both locals and passing tourists.
The flea market brings together around 35 exhibitors, both private and professional, who set up along the village streets from opening at 7 am. You can find a wide variety of furniture, tableware, decorative items, old tools, clothing, books, and curiosities of all kinds. Pitches are allocated based on the linear meters requested during registration, a few days before the event.
Exhibitors benefit from a free coffee upon arrival, dedicated parking, and the lively atmosphere throughout the day. Registration is exclusively online, with secure payment, via the HelloAsso platform.
A 100-space car park is available at the entrance of the village in the meadow, allowing visitors to park easily. The day is also enlivened by a refreshment stand and catering services available on site, to enjoy between finds. Toilets are accessible on the site. The flea market is open from 7 am to 4 pm.
Boucieu-le-Roi is a commune of less than 300 inhabitants, nestled in the Ay valley, between Lamastre and Saint-Félicien, in the north of Ardèche. Its name evokes a former royal possession, and its streets with basalt and granite houses bear witness to a preserved medieval past. Labeled Village de Caractère by the Ardèche department, it attracts many tourists each year seduced by its authenticity and architecture.
The village is accessible from the D578 from Lamastre or Saint-Félicien, and is about thirty kilometers from Tournon-sur-Rhône. The flea market is thus perfectly integrated into a tourist stay in the Ardèche verte, close to the many hiking and discovery sites in the area.
The association Boucieu Passions is the organizer of this annual flea market. Involved in the life of the village, it works to animate and promote Boucieu-le-Roi throughout the year. The summer flea market is one of its flagship events, helping to showcase the village and unite the local community around a festive and friendly occasion. Exhibitor registrations are made via the association's HelloAsso page.
The Brocante de Boucieu-le-Roi returns in July 2026 in the streets of the Village de Caractère, organized by the association Boucieu Passions. Approximately 35 exhibitors, free parking, refreshment stands on site. Free entry.
