Brocante d'Osmoy

A flea market on a historic site

The Brocante d'Osmoy takes place every year on the ÉPIDE site (Établissement pour l'Insertion dans l'Emploi), located in the former national police orphanage opened in 2008. This vast space, situated route de Bourges, offers exhibitors and visitors a flat and spacious area, ideal for a day of outdoor treasure hunting. The Osm'Ose association, which brings together the residents of the commune, has been organizing this event for several years.

Osmoy, on the outskirts of Bourges

Osmoy is a commune on the southern outskirts of Bourges, just a few kilometers from the city center of the capital of Berry. This village in the Cher department, which retains its rural character despite its proximity to the city, is easily accessible via the route de Bourges. The ÉPIDE site, with its large lawns and buildings, is an original and practical location for hosting an outdoor flea market.

An associative and friendly event

From 6 am, exhibitors set up their stalls to offer furniture, knick-knacks, crockery, books, toys, clothing, and various items. The fee is €1.50 per linear meter with a minimum of 4 meters. The refreshment stand and light catering are managed by the Osm'Ose association. Accessible toilets for people with reduced mobility are available on site. Entry is free for visitors. The association also organizes cycling races and waste collection operations in the commune throughout the year.
