For over 25 years, the Civrieux Twinning Committee has organized one of the most important flea markets in the Dombes region. This annual event, held every second Sunday in June, has become a must-attend for bargain hunters from the Ain and Rhône departments.
The flea market takes over the Mairie square, the streets, and the village square of Civrieux. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, offer a wide selection of items: furniture, trinkets, antique tableware, books, clothing, toys, and curiosities of all kinds. The village setting adds a special charm to this day of treasure hunting.
With over a quarter of a century of experience, the organization is perfectly mastered. Exhibitors set up from 6 am, and coffee is offered at 5 am to welcome the first arrivals. The rate is 4 euros per linear meter, with a minimum of 5 meters. Registrations are made via HelloAsso or by mail to the Twinning Committee.
Throughout the day, a refreshment stand and a catering area are run by the Committee's volunteers. The proceeds help fund the twinning's cultural exchanges and activities.
